Sister Maria Esther says that they are well off for clothes at this time but they are badly in need of cash for all aspects of Education, which all have to be paid for by the orphanage as it is a non Muslim organisation. The Government pays about 1,500 Rupiah per week per student only.

Another need is Medication, anyone visiting the orphanage with children's' Antibiotics, before Use By date, are extra welcome also children's vitamins as the diet is often lacking certain things because of the dedication to rice.

Bottom line is really, the orphanage can use practically anything you wish to donate. It is usually cheaper to pick most goods up in Bali, it also helps the Balinese economy, and also avoid any hassles at customs when bringing in a number of any item. However, you can sometimes pick up the odd bargain at home during the department store sales.
